I enjoy quiet time on the rooftop every morning–it’s such a peaceful way to start the day! I love watching the sun come up over the islands and the birds fly by in front of me. I’ve had a thing for rooftop views since living in a 5th floor walk up in Paris once upon a time. What’s so special about this view is the glimpses of the ocean at every turn and seeing the boat activity in Casco Bay. My brother and I decided to do a sibling set of this scene this week–I love seeing how we both interpret a view and what and how we choose to incorporate different details.
