As you know, I love the the ocean and islands with my whole being. And as I sit here in my family home in the South Carolina Lowcountry, I have so much gratitude for my parents and the places on small islands that they chose to call home. Neither one of them grew up on water, but they shared with us their love of lake and ocean breezes, sunsets over water, waves lapping at the shore, rock hopping at the water’s edge and the peace and beauty of island living. Today I am sharing a Vinalhaven scene from a walk on Tiptoe Mountain. From North Hero to Fripp to Vinalhaven, my island love runs deep.
