We’ve been caught up in the thrill of March Madness this year—it’s been so exciting and fun to watch! As Mainers, we were so proud to cheer on Cooper Flagg. What an amazing young man!

At the same time, we’ve been enjoying a very different kind of spectacle: the ebb and flow of the tides through the Lowcountry marsh. It’s a quieter kind of drama, but just as mesmerizing. The marsh is always shifting—its colors, textures, and mood changing with the light and the tides.

We love watching the white ibis swoop in to feed at low tide, while the osprey circle above when the water rises. Deer wander in and out throughout the day, and the fiddler crabs are constantly on the move. Nature’s rhythm is alive here, and it’s such a gift to witness it all.
