I’m down in the South Carolina Lowcountry right now and walking on the beach in the morning is my favorite way to start the day … especially when there’s a full moon involved. We got down to the beach and didn’t know which way to turn: at one end of the beach the moon was setting and at the other, the sun was coming up. Beautiful. This is my happy place. I decided to paint these 2 scenes from different setting moon days. It’s so cool to see the different colors that the setting moon and rising sun offer up, isn’t it?
