We went on a sunset boat ride through the Lowcountry marsh with Coastal Expeditions on St. Helena recently and it was magical! The guide was very knowledgeable and fun and the scenery through the spartina grass at golden hour was amazing. We had dolphins frolicking near us several times, we saw lots egrets feeding in the marsh and these 2 cutie pelicans perched on a buoy. And the Lowcountry sunset did not disappoint! What a treat!
And here is a painting of the morning light hitting the ocean shoreline as seen on my morning dog walks. The colors reflecting in the water at this time of day are so iridescent and beautiful! This piece has found a home already but I thought I’d share it with you.
